CPC did not leave a message, but I had a feeling i knew who they were calling for. I called back and the gentleman answered CPC. When I asked why they were calling, he told me the name of the individual they were calling for; it was not me. I am the proud inheritor of a phone number that a couple relinquished because they are in debt. I am not in debt. I get calls from all kinds of debt collectors for this couple. I was able to get the new number for them from one of the creditors, so I gave it to CPC. I asked the gentleman to remove my number from their records, so only time will tell if they do providing they can get in touch with this couple.
my ex loves to list my florida number, then skips out on paying her bills. then i get the calls. at first i told bill collectors "i have no idea where she is, we haven't seen her in 4 years" (true!), but i got tired of the calls...did a little detective work through her family and was able to obtain a physical address and phone number - so i GLADLY pass it on to the debt collectors. glad to be of service
I Never answer my phone unless the number is a person allowed to call me. But this CPC ? Caller keeps calling me all the time and the phone number is from the Bunnell Florida area. This is totally some type of scam. But since it has been happening for so long don't know my law enforcement hasn't gotten a hold of this guy.
I just recently switched to Cox bundle plan but do not use the landline phone system. However, I am able to check that line for missed calls & voice messages. There are several missed calls & 6 sec voice messages from this number (CPC). I can't actually hear the messages but after reading these posts, I'm no longer worried about it!
