Sends me a Whatsapp saying he wants me to send my item selling on Gumtree to west Africa. His name is Alex. Also willing to pay a very huge (additional) amount for shipping. Have read that this is a fraudster on other Forums. Don't trust this person
Hi This guy named Alex Festus got in touch with me on this number via whattsapp to purchase my wedding dress which was advertised on Gumtree. I was happily communicating till I got 2 email from the "Bank of America" stating that he had paid R9500 to me and the funds would be cleared as soon as I emailed them proof of postage. I blocked and reported the whattsapp and the conversation disappeared. I do have the 2 emails received, I started googling the number and found other complaints and knew it was not safe. Be careful people
