This number called my work, wanting said they are conducting a survey to improve the industry. I'm a purchaser for a large company. They said their name is Lieberman Research, and are located in New Jersey. She let me know that after the survey, she would need to get her supervisor on the phone to go over what we talked about (sounds like a sales closer). I said that I don't have time right now, but told them to call back tomorrow, and I'd like to look them up in the meantime. I should have looked them up while I had them on the phone.
Definitely a robocall. I always just let these things go to voicemail, but this one amused me. I supposed the caller "got a talkin' to" from his previous victim and was unaware he was already on another call. The voicemail was a confused/amused male saying to himself, or perhaps a coworker, "I don't understand the question 'Are you standing next to Vladimir Putin?'." Legitimate question considering the communists are totally responsible for the recent influx of telemarketer calls. Way to go, McCarthy.
