Received a call from this number. They said they had a complaint about me, gave me a case # and tried to scare me with bad use of legal terminology into calling another number in regards to a legal matter. They wouldn't tell me what the matter was about or what their company was. SCAM.

I received a call as well I didnt answer cause I didn't know the number but they also called two of my family members and told one it was about a legal matter and that I need to return the call makes no sense to me
I recd same thing yesterday. They said I had to call another number, they were a third party. I told them to have the plaintiffs attorney call me. I also have contacted NBC news in St. Louis in St. Louis to investigate and get the word out that there is a new scam going on! I live in southern Illinois, across river from St. Louis. Got the same call, asking my mom to call +1 888-822-7136 gave me reference number and said she has some compliance issue. When we asked them to mail us a letter or send fax as official writing stating the collection debt, woman refused saying that they already send mail to my mom and she didn't respond to them so they will not send anything because it costs money. They also knew mom's last 4 digits of ssn. I'm planing to call credit agency and add fraud alert just in case of any unauthorized applications.
