Received 2 calls on Saturday 1/17/2015 from this number. No message left. Reading other posts about this scam, since when does the IRS work on Saturday.
Why we got phone call from these idiot scammers...? If you want to make some money, work hard. Don't call any body.
And why the government do not make a law to fine these idiot scammers? Or put in jail.
Today (after thanks giving Friday) I received a call stating that this is officer Smith calling from IRS , U call this # 315 351 0083 at once other wise we are going to take action against U (It was a pre recorded call)
Funny thing IRS officers are working after thanks giving Friday? I think caller forgot that after Thanksgiving most offices are closed in USA. This is scam.
81 year old mother got this message left on her answering machine today. This was a threatening call (from the IRS) I guess scammers think EVERYONE is afraid of the IRS. She was so upset. I had to explain to her it was a scam. Her hearing isn't good so she only 1/2 way understood the message....shame... shame.... shame....guess the elders are who the scammers hope will call back
I just received a call from the "IRS" stating that they needed me to call them back at 315-351-0083.
Since I am on disability and only receive SSI for income, this is an impossibility for me owing any taxes.
I got help looking up this number on the internet, and found this site that confirmed it was a scam.
