"Claim" to be IRS "officer" with the number 3475590378 and that my name and SS# is involved in a pending tax criminal case. Barely spoke english and only seem to have my name and phone number and nothing else. Told me to to call 877-395-4886. Don't believe these guys! SCAMMERS
This is definitely a scan because the first time they called me, it was some Indian guy putting on a cheap, American accent, while the second caller had a Latin American accent. Just ignore the scum and their pseudo threats!
If you got a call from Washington D.C. that you owe tax in amount of $3500.67 if you don't prepare to pay the police will come and arrest you and you can't work at your job for 6 month it is a scum. I called the police in my county and they told me it is a scum to get your social security number or money. Don't fall for it.
Why is it that no one can do anything about these calls. Today is the 5th one I received. ID caller said the number was 347 559 0378 but the message asks you to call 202 754 8079. The first time they called I call the IRS and reported it. The Indian man asked for my husband. I told him my husband passed away a few months ago. He told me we were a bunch of ignorant people. I said why [***] because I won't give you any of my banking information or my social security number! I guess that would say that you people are the ignorant people and then I cursed and laughed at him! I wish someone would get rid of these people!
