just called me telling me he was with Microsoft and that my computer had viruses. Microsoft does not call you. when i said "this is a scam", he screamed at me "this is not a scam". told him not to call again, and he screamed "oh, i will call again". What an [***].
I just got my 3rd call from these scammers this morning. My machine was flashing, and when I tried to play it back, I got a beeping sound, like when you have been disconnected.. Yep it was from 'John Kendall" The last time they called I asked them what kind of computer I had, and they gave some dumb answer. Now this part is scary. I told them I have a contract with the Geek Squad, plus a support tech in India, and I even mentioned their name. They are legit, though. Then yesterday I got a call, with accent claiming they were from that tech support, telling me they needed to get into my computer. I said, "no thanks, it's working fine".. No tech ever calls to take control of your computer, it's the other way around. You call them. Sheeesh :)
I just got my third call from this company. I said "No thanks, it's just fine" Nobody ever calls to take control of your computer. It's the other way around, you call them.
just got this call and "team view" was installed before I could stop it. (someone else in the house answered the call). I questioned the caller and just herd a lot blah, blah..I hung up on her
I uninstalled "team view" hope I was not too late. Also saw that a plug and play Monitor was not able to be connected.
Got a call from John Kendall 347-753-9068 this is 3rd call in 3 days, one was from Tx., don't know about other call, husband got it......all the same a "windows error on my computer" ! Why can't these calls be stopped ? Needless to say he got a good cussing !!!
