I work with housecleaning and she contacted me about an add. She sent me a check, saying after that it was a banker's mistake to send my payment along with her mover's payment. She asked me to pay her movers through money gram.
I agreed, went to Bank of America to cash the check and then pay the movers. It didn't cash, I texted her saying that she should contact her banker and send our payments separately. She disappeared. The stupid part is that the address she gave me as the place she wanted cleaned is about 3 minutes from my house. Easy to check.
Oh my God! I've got the exact same thing! Same Story! The only difference is that I agreed to send her money after she insisted, but only after I cash the check. Of course, the bank didn't cash the check, so I've never made any deposit.
It's actually funny that she would think I would get my own money to pay anyone anything.
I just got scamed by this lady thank god im only out 10.00 for returned check fee... I knew it wa to good to be true... shes saying she needs house cleaned and going by the name ann Edwards please becareful....
