Has called me 3 times leaving no messages. Did recently open B of A accounts online. As a rule, I don't answer unknown phone #'s or return calls when no message is left.
Called at 8:20 pm Central. Strong older man's voice asked to speak to me - addressed me by first and last name. I don't give out my number and felt a little freaked so I responded that there is no one here by that name. They politely said Ok thank you and hung up. NIce to know that others are getting this same call.
Caller ID says: Bank of America. Left no msg on answering machine. Internet search indicates number is from Addison, TX. I live in southern California; I don't know why the BoA in Texas would want to talk with me... This is probably a scam.
I too got a call from 469-201-6660 and the person on the other end said to me that he noticed I opened a checking account. I told the person this is the third time I was called by this number and to stop calling or I go to the police. What happens an hour later. You guessed it. Phone rings and the same number shows up again. What I want to know is this.....Is Bank of America selling my information to someone and then it ends up on a list, or is someone out there going around making up stuff as they go along hoping the caller on the other end says yes to a question.
