MB either you're an idiot or you work for them, probably both.Do your research before you advise someone.I did my research, and these people make all kinds of claims people owe them for some kind of debt.I researched the number because they called some one I know and claimed I owed for Welfare fraud. DOH!I never ,ever applied or used anything in the Welfare system.It's against the privacy laws for collection agencies or creditors to give information to a second party.It's also against the law to falsely represent yourself as any Government Agency.They're facing some time in prison for that one ,if they're caught.They use different names and numbers.They work out of Texas.Probably close to the border so they can make a run for it when they get caught.Maybe even drive over to different locations.Keep reporting them to the FBI,and to your cell phone provider.It's against the law for telemarkets ect., to call you on your cell phone.Mainly,don't answer a call if you don't know who it is.Bots(robots) will give up after so many times,because they register a dead number.If you remember that guy who kept calling about your auto ins for a very long time,was finally caught.But there will always be scammers.
itsa a scam.. they were doing this same B.S. with a different phone number about a year ago .. they would call constantly trying to get personal info about a family member and they didn't even have the name spelled right .. they just started calling today on a different number on my land line and cell phone.. do not call them back report them to the do not call list it will take about a week but the calls will stop
