I also got one from *microsoft he wanted to allow him acess to my laptop told him battery was dead he told me of al the virus I had my security did not find one so sCAM I told him not to call back
wanted to give me a refund for a service I was scammed on and stopped the card before it went thru. Wanted to credit my MC which I don't even use. DONT GIVE THEM ANY INFO. TOTAL SCAM.
I Rec'd pop up on Mac computer saying Apple was concerned. I called (DUMB!!) the # and they asked me if the # i called from was mine. They said they had my IP address, I asked how do you know that? I asked for their supervisor. On the orignial pop up on my Mac had a button to click OK. DO NOT CLICK the OK button because they would have had access to my Mac computer..
***Right after that the #661-748-4073 called twice & 2nd time went to voice mail with no message. I did not answer & placed them on rmy android eject list!
BEWARE!!! This is definately a SCAM to access your computer information! Mac virus free days days are over!
Someone called said my computer had been hacked, said they were from Microsoft. Called back next day wanted my bank account number. Called again today, I didnt answer.
