Got a call today. No sounds at first, then a soft female voice, claiming to work for technical company, informs me that I have downloaded a malicious file and asks me access to my computer. I responded that I would not as suspected a scam and I hanged up.
Girl from ITEK telling me that my computer has been infected with a virus and that I had previously PAID them for this service. I told her she must be mistaken. She insisted that I let her help me and I told her she was a CON ARTIST and she hung up. lol
I'm house-sitting for my boss and an Arabic or Indian accented voiced claimed to be from Microsoft; when I told him that he should be ashamed, he threatened me by saying "What size is you coffin"? "Wanna buy a coffin" "You're an idiot"... I hung up - A couple of hours later they called back and I hung up again... then they called back with more threats and I reported them to the local police.
