Im a gay female and they have me on this repeat caller system. they threaten me and call me abusive names, then hang up. how do i make them stop, and why do they have my number?
This person called and asked for the owner of our company, who works at our parent company in Kansas. I told him the owner doesn't work in this office. He asked if he could have the owner's office number and I said I'm not permitted to give it out (which I'm not - if it's important, like a vendor or a customer, they either have the number already or they're satisfied to leave a message which I then pass along). The guy got really cocky and started chuckling, asking how we do any business if no one can get a hold of the owner. I told him I would be happy to take a message and he said he would just call information. He said "Is that office under W. Rose, too?" and I said "No, they're called Kraft Tool Company." He said "Crest Tool Company?" and I repeated Kraft. He then said "Kraft like the cheese?" I replied with "Sure, yes" and he hung up without another word. What a loser.
I'm getting calls like this and under no circumstances say yes on any of
these calls. They already got me once. They use the same yes they get you
to say like is the your number and you say (yes). Then they use that yes to say you want thier service and bill you though your phone bill. It's
all a scam. Allways say that is my information or my address is that.
It cost me 9.95 then 39.95 and the last month 39.85 Which we got back from
the phone company. We tried to stop it the 2nd month but they billed another anyway.
I got a call from this # today as "Radio America" - asking for my Credit card info/money for Breast Cancer awareness. Told them to call back in a couple hrs. Serched the 'net and called both "Radio America"s and they said they werent involved in any fundraising. Called the Telemarketer back and asked for website - was told radioamerica.com - there is no such website. This is a fraud and I'm reporting it the Illinios Attorney General at 1312.814.3000 - just left a message for a "Patrick" there. You all should do the same.
