Caller refused to identify what company they were representing. That makes it a criminal scam call. They wanted to sell me a vehicle warranty service contract. BTW, I'm on the do not call list, so that makes it another crime committed by them.
I like to pick up my phone and put it next to the T.V and then walk away. Usually they are too stupid to get the hint. Being retired can be made fun!!!
After receiving a call, I input the number and read the posts, learning who was calling. Same phone number called about 10 minutes later, so I answered it. A woman asked me why I hadn't returned the extended warranty application they mailed me, and I said that the reason was that I already have an extended warranty on my car (20-year, 200,000 miles). She politely said that she will make a note of that fact. Let's see if they really take me off their call list.
Call to landline at 2:00pm. Caller ID said Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I don't know anyone from that area. Machine picked up but caller hung up and left no message.
