Asked about a washing machine - told them I didn’t have one and they hung up.

Said calling from HotPoint and asking to confirm my postcode which was one of my previous postcodes I lived many years ago. I refused to confirm the postcode without knowing the context/purpose of the call. He simply hang up.

Said they were calling from nationwide, asked me to confirm a previous address then asked me what brand of washing machine I had. Dodgy.

Suspicious. Couldn’t understand what the person was saying. All I could make out was something about changing my washing machine!!
