I got exact same call except I was also told an amount that I was being sued for and that Iwas being audited for the years 2009 through 2105. The people were rude and didnt want to answer any questions and they called 3 times in a row.

Got 2 calls today with message saying the IRS is threatening a lawsuit if you don't call back soon. I know its a total scam so I don't answer. Will report number to FCC and file complaint.

You're still answering if they're leaving you messages. No answer of any kind and hear nothing but a ringing phone while angering callers.

THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!  Be aware and do not interact with them or provide ANY information.  Just hang up!
