Received call @4:55 pm name unavailable, the person asked for my daughter who is 34 years old and does not live at our house, I replied that she does not live here, He said "than who the *ell are you?" I replied " good question who the *ell are you?" He hung up on me. His speech indicated he did not speak much English.
Received call from 202-154-6589. Female caller with very thick, indistinguishable accent. Claimed to be calling from federal government to award me with a grant for $9000. Went through options of how money would be awarded to me: bank transfer, transfer onto a re-bootable card. I led her on for awhile. When I asked that I would want the money to be sent by mail, she said that would not be possible and to not waste her time. I laughed and hung up. Trying t find gullible (greedy) people to share their bank info.
my phone rang and I am expecting follow up call for my interview in Washington DC, so I answered professionally, after 10 seconds, an automated voice said, goodbye.
