Called saying I got a $9000 federal grant. Let go on with his story for a while. Thick accent as well. Asked him for my name since if I was going to get money they should have my name in the screen. Wanted my CC number or bank info to transfer the $9k in the next 40-45 minutes. Complete scam. He hung up after I insisted for him to give me my name. Had 3 minutes of fun with him. SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!
Same thing, same scam. hehe, told him thank you for talking so long and giving me time to track and he will be contacted shortly after Feds have time to follow up on him impersonating a Gov. official. Totally fun and I look forward to the next call as this is the 2nd.
Same as above...caller said he was from the US Federal Grant and has 9K for me. He was very pushy...thick accent...said his name was Larry Crown. I told him it was a scam and he argued with me that it wasn't. I told him that he can keep his 9K.
