BEWARE!
This is one of several numbers for YMax Communications Corporation
I Googled YMax Communications, and the #1 most visited page for them is the ComplaintsBoard.Com page, which is filled with complaints accusing them of illegal harassing calls. Even worse... when you click on "Scams and Fake Checks" on the ComplaintBoard.Com website, YMax comes up as their worst (highest) source for complaints!
According to many of the complaints posted, they do a LOT of lying (like saying you gave them your name & number at some prior event, or saying that you've been named in a lawsuit, claiming that they represent the IRS, or offering ‘Free Government Grant money’ to recently-arrived foreigners, etc).
One complainer said the people they spoke with at YMax had heavy Indian accents, so they might be based beyond the reach of American laws and just have the phone calls transferred to them from several US bases).
Based solely on my web research (and not on any personal experience), this is probably the worst telephone scamming operation I've ever heard about...
I received a call from 1-214-884-5031 saying I received a grant from Federal Government and I was required to call
Western Union headquarters at 202-239-1045 with a payment of $185.00 to get my grant of $8,000.00. When I called the number, John Anderson answered. He told me to buy a prepaid voucher for $185.00 from CVS and call him.
To report the fraud, go here:

Their number is listed , along with an email address, at the top of the page.

So this number 202-239-1045 calls me say he is from the IRS with a thick accent sounded from India. the Phone number listed D.C. and the male caller said he was from the IRS and that there was a problem with my record. He asked for my name
but and info but when he said he was from the IRS, I remembered hearing about a scam like this. The IRS doesn't call you- they send you a letter or knock on your door. He could not tell me my name but he had my file? I kept asking who he was calling for he got aggravated the threatens me and hung up. I immediately called back and got an elderly lady's voice mail. he then called on top of that as I started to leave a message.
