Spoke to a man who claimed his name was John Brown and said that I had 44 mistakes over the last 4 years and that what I had paid to the IRS didn't match up with what was correct and that now I owe $5k. He wouldn't tell me what was "wrong" with my taxes, but that he had tried multiple times to reach me and I refused to answer his "certified" letters (that I've never received). I then asked for his direct supervisor which I was given a number for. Called that number and it sounded like the same man! He told me to give him my info and he would help me out where I not so nicely told him that that wasn't happening and hung up.
