202-241-0006, This number called my 70 year old Mother, said she need to pay a large sum of money, or they will put her in jail. I called them back, acting to be my Mother, I said we were disconnected, they stated how do I want to my payment before they seize my home, I asked how do I make the payment, he said you need to make it to me, or he is forced to call my Police and put me in jail, and will take my home....Then he says, your voice sounds different, this is not @#$%, and I said NO its her Daughter, and you are not the IRS, "CLICK" call back and goes to voicemail....1st of all he dint even speak barely ENGLISH.....SCAMMERS.....Make sure you report to your local Police department ASAP
I just received a call, which I let go to voice mail, from 202-241-0006. Same thing as previous posts; a thick, almost unintelligible accent telling me that we had been sued for tax fraud, that I should call him back immediately. He ended by telling me if I contacted a lawyer to deal with them, he would wish me good luck & hoped I could evade the arrest warrant. What a load of hooey!
I received a call yesterday with the same message that I had committed a federal tax fraud and was going to be arrested. I have heard of this scam and of course will not respond.
