I received the same IRS scam calls today. Luckily I heard about it before and googled. Our FBI/NSA/whatever agency responsible for this type of incident should work on it.
This person or persons is sending me disturbing emails stating that they are taking legal action against me for such crimes and they are threating to contact my employer to have me fired. Isn't this terroristic threating (instilling fear and terror into certain individuals)?.
This phone call came today telling me We are under a criminal investigation for tax fraud. Said my husband and I have warrants out for our arrest and we will be arrested in 30 to 45 min. I called my cpa to verify I have not had any issues with the irs. I haved contacted the FBI and the IRS and the Sheriffs dept. This was so frightening when it happened but I have alot of friends and familiy who made calls and went on the website to verify this . We researched for scams and IRS info and FBI information. I am really pissed off that these callers are calling from pakistan....A....Holes!!!!!!!!!
My sister just got a phone call from Crystal Foreman as well saying that her husband was under criminal investigation and they were coming to arrest him in 45 minutes. I called back since I am an accountant. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she said he was sleeping. That he was up all night. She did not know what a CPA was! Thank you for posting this info. I received a call today on my answering machine stating a federal lien was being filed. When we called back he said a warrant was being filed today on me and told me not to call him again. Then he hung up on me. Like the other callers , they had a foreign accent that was very hard to understand.
