I HAD A DETECTIVE FRIEND OF MINE CALL THEM AND THEY HUNG UP ON HER AND I ASKED HER TO CHECK MY RECORD AND SHE HAS HAD NO INFO ABOUT IT......I HOPE THEY GET CAUGHT FOR IMPERSONATING A FEDERAL AGENT....

They call me saying I was being audit and they try to serve me paper twice .......and he was being rude and demanding I told him nobody tryed to serve me paper I had the sake address for the part 5 YEARS.the phone keep breaking up and drop the call twice on there end
It looks from the reports of this number on this site that the number has not been used in a while. Starting up again. Got a call from 202 241 1487 yesterday. This was the second call in two days from the same party - first call from 202-792-9313. Both claimed to be IRS regarding an audit of my tax return that showed evidence of fraud. I did not answer either call but waited to replay the message they left. Both calls instructed me to return the call immediately. Second call also contained a "warning" that if I did not respond immediately "they" - supposedly the IRS- would not be responsible to any legal action taken against me within the next 24 hours. Trying to resort to "scare tactics". I anticipate a call may come in today as it has now been 20 hours. I won't answer that one either. We never answer calls that are not identifiable - wait to see if they leave a message. Both times there was a message left. DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM 202 AREA CODE UNLESS YOU PERSONALLY KNOW WHO IS CALLING YOU. Wait and listen to any message they leave. Then report it.
