This person called me blocked told me i won a $10,000 us government grant all i had to do was western union them $149 and id get my money within ten min just call this number n follow instructions. I pass
Yes same here. Called me a few days back asking if I was someone else. I told him no and he goes " ok sorry" and hangs up. You would think the IRS would ask a couple of questions to verify who they called, if it really was the IRS. He called again today. i try to call back, all I get is voice mail now.
The exact same happened to me! This is the third "IRS" threat I've received this week. I seriously hope that nobody is actually falling for this nonsense.
I also received a call this afternoon and a man with a heavy accent said as soon as I received the message I should, "leave my work aside and immediately call the number due to a serious tax crime."
Got a call from this number two days in a row, from a man with a very heavy accent, telling me I had to leave my work aside and call the number because of a serious tax crime. The only crime is that these idiots think Americans are as clueless as they are! How many times do we have to hang up on these scammers before they get the message?
Guy with an India accent says hes "officer" so & so with the IRS & has a warrant for my arrest for tax evasion. Very laughable! Wants 6 grand TODAY or im being arrested. I told him to write my number down & memorize it bc he better remember to never call me again. Also told him yo get off his [***] & get a real job.
