Heavy Indian accent "Kelly Jones" says she is from IRS and if you do not pay them they will turn you into police. Scam! Has also called me from the phone number of 2022411017
I received the same message as you all especially Dee. I was surprised to hear this message and thought, it was odd that this person would actually call a deaf person through relay service. It made no sense to me. I am now calling IRS to find out what is going on. I am glad that I looked up a research before doing anything further. Thanks for sharing these information. I just got a call from this number 202-241-1640 said his name is jusin gray with heavy Indian accent and then patrick badge1568 then a richard lewis badge# 18352 all the same guy I told him I was reporting him he tried telling me the police are going to arrest in today for not [paying my taxes I do not owe taxes I stated I am disabled called hi back several times and h keeps hanging up on me HE IS IMPRSIONATIONING AND IRS AGENT THATIS ILLEGAL. SO ONE NEEDS TO DO SOME THING ABOUT HIM ASAP.
This is a major scam. I have received half a dozen calls in a few hours from a male posing as a IRS officer demanding payment or I will be arrested by the end of the day. As a former IRS employee at no time will the level of bullying be used and first contact is always via postal service. If anyone calls , get the name and badge number also the date and time of call; get as much information as you can so you can report it. If the caller keeps on just state you will meet the at the local IRS office; never pay via the phone call. The IRS has on their website tips about spotting a scam and where and how to report it. I also got this call 3 times today…..Indian man named "MIKE SMITH" lol……says he's from the IRS and I have a lawsuit pending against me, wanted to speak to my Lawyer….told me also, that he has warned me and good luck to me.
Got 3 calls within the last hour from an Officer Justin Gray from what I can see on these boards he is very popular he did tell me that if I didnt call him back I would end up in jail and he will feel sorry for me but that I have caused this problem... funny how its for taxes because I work for a Tax office and I know my taxes are done legit.. in all the 3 calls I got he threatened me over and over left me a minute long message and it was the same thing over and over I really think he was reading from a script lol Oh well I'm not scared come and get me because I know I don't owe anything.
