The call was UNKNOWN and I was told the government was giving me a grant of $1000. They said I could use this money on anything I wanted I just had to give them my credit card information... And I DID. Stupid I know. Them this guy told me to call the 202 number and he gave me a "grant iD" . Once I called they asked for ID number and they said I was a winner. He then told me I had to pay a fee of $192 . I told him I would get that money and call him back. I googled the information and obviously it was a scam!!!! This number tried calling me back but I didn't answer.
I was told to call this ph.# on Mon.07/21/2014 bet 10am & 3:30pm.., they said something about my name being on a grant list & to call & claim it. They were calling from a ph.# that only registered on my phone as : +0010000 !
I was contacted today at 10:50am and was advised by this guy name Jerry Jones then he said Johnson was the last name and not Jones this threw up a red flag for me.. Then he stated that I had been choosen to receive a grant from the govt for $10,000 as bad as I needed this money it's unfornate that people play games with your lively hood. Then he advised me that I would need a credit card or a checking account even if it has a zero balance in order to transfer the funds to my account... I refused to provide this information to him then he proceeded to adivse me that I could get the grant money through western union but there would be a proccessing fee, but he did not say how much the processing fee would be. he then gave me some code and told me to call this number 202-24-18900 and give them my code and then advised that they would verify my information then provide me with the grant money.. the number the Jerry called me from came up on my phone as unknown... another red flag! as much as I need a financial blessing right now I can't belive people have it in their hearts to try and rip off innocent citizens times area hard and all the country needs is to have another a-hoe scam artist ripping off folks... may GOD be with them!
