This is another IRS scam. Message was, "The reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you". Told me to call a number. Robo voice that didn't even say the sentence correctly. Funny how I just got my tax refund 2 days ago! These folks need to be stopped but nobody seems to be able to do that. Please do not fall for this obvious scam.

This is the IRS scam the (real) IRS is warning us all about. They do not call and threaten. They notify you by mail to which you have time to respond. Steer clear accepting these calls and block them if you can.
They called and said they had an arrest order because I has unpaid irs taxes of 1545.00 that the people doing my taxes had used the wrong column. that I should stay on the phone and drive to the nearest target store and get a tax free voucher and then they would give me a code to put on the voucher which would stop the arrest order. I ask them if I could call them back instead of staying on line they said no. When I pushed for verification of the arrest claim they got real nasty and hung up.
I got few phone calls from 1(202)241-9690 and the caller ID display showed that number was register under "Michael Woods" name. Every time they called I was unable to answer right away, so they left a hard to understand voice message... including something about IRS and some threatens. I call them back (few times because they hang up on me) and I asked for Michael Woods, and they told me "he is busy" and the guy that answered told me "to made an inquiry" to be placed on *do not call list* ..Very strange (!!!)... to ask IRS to place you on DO NOT CALL LIST!!!! HA HA ... then when I asked the guy from the other end why did they called me, they cut the phone connection. I called them back, again, this time answered a female and I ask who are they, and she told me: she is the IRS OFFICIAL OFFICER and she needed my name to look up for me. I asked her, (with out telling her my name) in what matter they called me about and she just hang up the phone. When I called them again, I asked them about their phone number and why they do not saying their IRS employee registered number when they respond to the phone calls (?) and they hang up again...
The phone calls from this phone number are SCAM!!!!!
