These are scammers claiming to call from the IRS. They claim to have a warrant for you that will be executed by your local police department if you do not cooperate with them. I told them to go ahead and send the police. No way would the IRS have foreigners calling its' citizens and I hung up. I called my local police and reported this call. They told me it is a scam and they are aware of it.

Someone by the name of Paul Brown had called my elderly, alzeimers mom. He called around 11:30 am on May 20, 2014 to say she was involved with Identity Fraud. My mom does not go out of the home. I believe justice should be done for those who pray on the elderly. Shame on you. When I called them back a pre-recorded message came on that they were the IRS. If this persists we will call our local police and our State Representative along with my moms lawyer.
My grandmother got a message today (May 20) from the the same people. They are foreign, from somewhere in the Middle East. They called saying that we (My household) is involved in tax frauds and that she needed to pay them 2,000 American Dollars to make up for my "crimes". They gave a long list of instructions as to where she should go and pay. They claimed that if she didn't, she would be arrested in 20 minutes. I then got on the phone, outraged that they would threaten my grandmother. I asked them why they called and what they wanted. I informed them that all of our taxes where paid and that no one is my house hold had committed "tax crimes". They hung up. I called again. They pretended like I was harassing them (I called twice, they called around 20 TIMES). They are talented, but are probably new to scamming people. Don't worry about the call, I HIGHLY doubt they will take any action beyond calling you or your mother. Sorry this happened to you, but I doubt there is much to worry about.
