he said he was calling from the federal gvmt revenue dept and I was selected to receive a grant of $9000. This is money that I do not have to pay back. Then said I was probably wondering why I was selected to receive this. I replied no, I wasn't surprised at all. He asked why I thought I was receiving this and I told him because I'm such a terrific person and I deserve it. He hung up
Scam-the Government does not randomly call people and award them thousands of dollar because they are a good citizen, pays their bills on time, mows their lawn every 5 days or brushes their teeth 3 times a day. To receive a grant there is a strict process that must be followed. In addition, these clowns will have you pay an acquisition fee (maybe $250.00 or so). So they get your money and you get taken to the cleaners (you get no money). There is no free lunch, no free money and the only free cheese is in the mouse trap. Do not call them.
