Scam.  Someone using Embassy of India's name and calling.  It is Indian Embassy's Fax number.  Washington D.C. area code.
The caller must be using the internet
and calling.  I was told--that the Embassy filed two cases against me and he asked me to write down the case numbers. I told him to get a real job instead of preying on people. I cursed him out.  Then he disconnected the phone.
I searched the internet.  This scam going on in Europe targeting students and other indians.  Indian Embassy in France notified the public that it is a scam and not to become a victim.
Next day from the same number I received calls.  I didn't answer them.
