I just got a call from this same number 202-268-9755 United States P. I let it go to the machine and a woman came on with an accent saying "hello, hello?". Of course I knew it was a scammer when I saw the number and heard the woman. It couldn't get more obvious. For call type why isn't scammer listed? And why can't anything ever be done about these insects? We report but nothing is ever done. Just endless reporting from the consumer.
I received a phone call from this number with an Indian gentleman stating that he was from the IT department of Microsoft. The number ID stated United States - I called the number and the tape said United States post office in Washington DC. In about one minute I got disconnected. I have had a previous issue with a gentleman stating that he was from the IT department of Microsoft and they were getting error messages from my computer. Beware!! they want to access your computer.
I got the same call that Linda (above) got. On caller ID, it says 'United States P'. I knew right away that this was from a scammer as I have read about this before, so I hang up. They want to access your computer. Beware!
