This is a number for a charitable organization. I called Channel 11 in Chicago to verify it as they were asking for donations. It is legitimate. I had purchased something a few months ago, so I am now on their list to be called. This is just information I wanted to advise people of that is making calls.
They are a marketing group that has your number based on a charitable donation you have given in the past. Call the number and it prompts you to have your number removed from the database within 72 hours.
ALSO THEY HAVE ANOTHER # THAT IS CALLING ME AS WELL: 202 315-5366
SO MAKE A NOTE THAT THIS # IS ATTACHED TO THE # LISTED AS WELL!
WANTED TO LET OTHERS KNOW THAT THESE ARE FROM SAME PLACE..
WHY DO WE PAY FOR UNLISTED NUMBERS WHEN IT DOESN'T DO A BIT OF GOOD, GEE OUR GOVERMENT REALLY DOESN'T DO JACK TO PROTECT PEOPLE AND WHAT ABOUT OUR FREEDOM RIGHTS?? I KNOW I AM NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL WITH THE PRESIDENT WE UNFORTANTLY HAVE IN OFFICE.. I WOULD RATHER HAVE MY DOG OR CAT BE IN OFFICE.. THAT IS MY THOUGHTS...AT LEAST WE STILL HAVE SOME FREEDOM OF SPEACH, FOR NOW??
