A prerecorded message is initially left threatening me with jail time if I do not return the call - A guy with a Indian/Pakistani accent answered the phone & told me that there had been a claim filed against me by the IRS. I told him that the IRS does NOT contact anyone by phone about claims. He then said that the file had been turned over to him to collect. I laughed in his face and told him that this was a SCAM & he was trying to steal money from me and that I knew for a fact that I didn't own any back taxes. Also that the IRS knows my address, they can come & pick me up & take me to jail because I've got no money.
Someone called me today and left a message threatening me that I needed to call immediately or I could face jail time, these is just a prank do not pay attention to this kind of things, it is just to steal your money.
