Same call many have been getting. Knew it was a scam as soon as I heard the recording. The I.R.S. doesn't operate this way.
I can tell you the person who answered when I called back didn't enjoy their end of the call. I talked to them for a few seconds and then let loose with the 103 decibel rescue whistle, right in their ear!
Might have a hard time hearing out of that one for a bit....
Just received message that the last notification (the first that I'd received) from the IRS and that they were having a law suit against me. They used the # 202-407-9848 and said to call this #. Believe its a scam since I'd heard about this happening in the last few months.
