The message was cut off on my voice mail but said I was being sued by the IRS (a computer-generated voice). Wouldn't the IRS have an agent personally contact you, or send you a registered letter? This is someone's scam, no doubt. A person named Vanessa Scott came up on the screen; that person does work for insurance companies. Hmmmm, what a surprise. Delete the message and don't answer it.
Hi! So I called back and I did get someone...they asked my name and for my current address. Once I refused (because they stated my previous last name and a home address I haven't lived at for 4 years) they said the case will be closed, there is already a warrant out for your arrest and the police will come to your home to arrest you.
Name on caller id came up as Vanessa Scott. It was a recorded message that was left on my VM saying this was a final notice that I am being sued by the IRS.
