I got a Call stating that I was approved for a government grant in the amount of $8000 but I have to wire $125 western union to get the grant money but the money I send is going to red cross of America I don't have a problem with that I just want to know if this a scam. I don't have money to lose like that I got bills to pay

I GOT A CALL FROM US GOVERNMENT SAYING I COULD GET THIS $8000 GRANT... I GAVE THEM MY CARD # WHICH HAS NO $$ ON IT...THEY GAVE ME A # 202-470-2655 TO CALL. NO
ONE ANSWERS...ITS BUSY MOST OF THE TIME. IF THEY THINK THERE GOING TO SCAM $$

I just received a call from a woman Cynthia Paite stating I have been granted a $7000.00 grant from Washington D. C. Finance dept. And to contact. Nelson Snyder @253-204-7966 grant ID# mc1009 to have grant sent to me. ???
