I agree with you Greg. It must be the same person/company. I recieved two calls from 202-470-2746 and two calls from 202-470-2756. All calls were in the morning. I did not try calling the number to find out who is calling.
202-470-3801; Foreign accent claiming to be with DOJ: said he was holding a sweepstakes package for me on behalf of Customs. Asked him if people really fell for that scam. He laughed and said, "Sometimes!"
There should be something done about these scammers. This number is portraying itself as Verizon by a recording and ask if you are the person and states to press 1.
Called Verizon and they never called me also said they would never call from such an area code.
I have been receiving calls from this number for about 2 weeks. No message; they are calling on cell and house, both husband and self. If you dial back it says it's Verizon. It is not. Scammer.
