Who called from 2024705938

Claim to be IRS and owe debt. Make threats No name, just call this number back and give them money.

I got the same call 2 days in a row now, call 202 470-5938. I filed a complaint with IRS after the first call, and they obviously do NOTHING. Got 2 more calls after my complaint.

The IRS does nothing because the call is NOT from them!!! It's a spoofed number. Besides, the IRS doesn't call people. They send out letters.

that makes me feel better. I got the same call on 7/10. And I thought wait the IRS would send me a letter. Glad to see these posts. I can now relax.

It is not the IRS calling you. It is a scam. That is why the IRS doesn't do anything.
