I received a call from a 00000000 number at 6:45pm EST. The woman had an Indian or Pakistani accent and was promising me $9,000 grant money, said she was from a United States Government Agency. She said I could receive it in my bank account or in hand if I called (202) 470-6727 and gave the confirmation # GG11036. Of course I'm not calling.

I recieved a call from unknown number and it was a man with accent also telling me about 9000 grant and could have the money transferred to bank acct or western union also gave me the number 202-470+6727 to call n gave me a grants confirmation number
• There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

• You have not won big bucks from a benign benefactor, a pot of pesos from PCH, dinero from a doctor, or a grant from a gracious government <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

• It is illegal to pay money for a loan or prize, BEFORE getting the loan or prize!
• "Free Trips" are loaded with mandatory & costly extras, and you usually must give them your card number after listening to a loooong spiel at a hotel.
• Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot" or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse.

this just happened to me and I was in need of money so I called and the Indian insulted me after I said that they were a scam and said that he's a terrorist and knows where I live , wondering if I should take these accusations seriously
