Who called from 2024808096

This number is saying they are from the IRS Fraud Department.  I called back and no one answers or no voicemail.

There is a widespread IRS (or CRA) or "tax scam" being  practiced by scammers on both USA and Canadian residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.

Got a call and leave message about identity theft and I should call this Marshall bake, called no answer, mailbox full, and got this call before saying they were irs, called back and their ans Mach said that, calked back again spdifferent and filed scam with irs

I got a call from them saying my name was underarrest even though i just my taxes back  When i called back they answered

They said it was from the IS fraud department and that I needed to call them back at that number.
