Claims to be the IRS

NOT the IRS.  If there was a problem  you would receive a letter in the mail.  The caller is a scammer (probably)  in India or Pakistan.

I received a phone call from this number saying they were the IRS instigating legal action against me.  This seems like a scam.  The IRS always contacts me by mail.

Please look into this.

Got 2 missed calls from this number.  When you call back it's a recorded call saying they are the IRS INVESTIGATION AUDIT DEPT.  It's a scam.  Don't call back don't talk to them.  But if you want to have some fun....tell them they have to speak to your husband or wife..and they are at work, but let me give you the number....they are the Senior Agent at our local FBI OFFICE!!!!! Watch them hang up and never call you again!!!

Received 2 calls as well - and the caller (thick accent)  left the same voicemail message about being with the IRS.
