this number call claiming they are the irs criminal investigation unit.. when you call back it goes straight to voicemail and ask you to leave detail information about yourself.
There is a widespread IRS or "tax scam" being practiced by scammers on both Canadian and USA residents.

Short answer:
The IRS never initiates a contact via phone.
They always send a snailmail first.
