I received a call yesterday and was told I had won the 2nd place prize from a sweepstakes and won 937,000.37 and a 2013 Mercedes in the color of my choice.. I realized very quickly its a scam so I had fun with the caller. I don't think he is going to call me back..
Received a call from this number and I hung up. They called me back. They reported they were working in Washington, DC and were letting me know that I had won a Sweepstakes and if I didn't call back before five o'clock, I would lose it. Come to find out, it is a scam and eventually they would ask me to send them two hundred dollars. So BEWARE!!!
I am 88 years old and received a call from this number stating that I won a sweepstakes and did not claim it. I was informed that if I did not respond within 72 hours I would lose the winnings. I have searched the Federal Trade Commission website to find that the name Richard Bell is not on the agent list. Please beware.
My mom has been getting these calls too Richard Vail was the name given. This all started after my mom foolishly entered the publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes. I think their data base has been hacked. BEWARE!!!!!
