Caller spoke to one of my clients and told her she owed a large sum of taxes. He wanted her social security number and bank account number. When I called back James Brown answered the phone claiming to be from the legal department of the Treasury Department. When I stated I did not believe he was from Department of Treasury he told me to "F*!# off you motherf*!#er"
Same here. I knew they were solicitors trying to rip people off so I toyed with them. The guy just laughed at me and then someone changed it so only zeros would show up on my caller ID (how they do this, I don't know) and kept calling and calling. My phone was already set to block all zeros, so hahahaha. I did answer one of them just to say…"you're still an [***]".
