I just stopped at my folks house and saw my mother scared out of her wits, I asked what was wrong and she said she got a phone call from 202-602-1422 claiming that they were IRS people and she owed them money and that she would be arrested.  Luckily I stopped by just after she hung up and calmed her down, showing her this website and the other people who have posted complaints.  She said that she wanted to talk to her lawyer first and of course they hung up.  It's a shame  you can't reach through the phone and choke someone. Would love to do that right now.  Thanks everybody for sharing your experience here.
