The call is from overseas that read: +1(1) (202) 644-9286. The scammer wants you to give up personal information to get into your bank account to increase the funds for ISIS. The government doesn't really know that they will spoof or generate a fake number and this method is scamming funds out of people's bank account to support the cause. They will call you and lure you to your computer and say they are from Del or Microsoft and explain they detected a virus on your computer. Once they are in, they will generate a pop up window when they do scans to make you believe it too. Then they tell you you can walk away from your computer and it will be a while and in the mean time, they are downloading your drives with sensitive information. Beware.
Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. If you look below, this went from a microsoft tech scam to the IRS scam. They also are behind the fake government grants scam and into some of the advance fee loans, extortion you took a loan scam and some fake medical & medical law suit calls as well.
