It is a scam the IRS does not call you. The IRS does everything thru the mail. I got the same call and was told by a very heavy accent dirty bag that he was going to have me arrested because I did not pay taxes from 2009 thru 2014 and that I owned the IRS over $10,000.00. I told him to send me all the paperwork and I will take it to my accountant. Plus I have been filing my taxes jointly for over 30 years with my husband. He got totally pissed and started cussing me out and I informed him that he is nothing but a scumbag and that the IRS does not conduct business this way.
I received a call from this number saying she was an irs officer and they wanted me to pay 5,000 in back taxes that I owed if not an officer would come and arrest me
