They left a message on house phone. The caller id showed as 202-622-5000. When you google that number, it does show as the IRS. But when I listened to the number, I knew it was not. They are getting so crafty, making it look like the call is coming from a legitimate sourc.e
This was a recorded message, not a live person. A woman's voice said to call back immediately because there were "three federal allegations in your name". Right.
She repeated the number three times, and added "to avoid enforcement...."

Call from this number (from someone who barely could speak English). Didn't answer, but returned the call and they stated they were the internal revenue and I apparently had some legal issues that I was feeling guilty about and needed to take care of them. NOPE
Rec'd call from 202-622-5000 - Caller ID read Dept of Treasurer - Did not answer - Left Voice Mail to call 202-681-4963 because I had 3 federal allegations against me. (Which I do not) Did not call them back being I knew it was a bogus phone call.
