Oh yeah, 202-684-6380, said a law suit was being filed against me by the IRS. Big huge scam. Would have not thought a thing about it but just so happened that someone had filed a tax return in my name and ssn fraudulently and I have already filed charges with the local law enforcement office and the IRS and The Federal Trade Commission. So just beware and aware and protect yourself and your identity.
Several calls from this # 202-684-6380. Finally, recorded message was left stating that they are the IRS looking to file a claim against me. I phoned the # back just to see what was going on and the connection was all static. I figured this was some sort of scam and hung up before anyone answered.
I just received the same phone call, do not believe it. IRS will always contact you by mail regarding any legal action so you can arrange a legal representative and the mail item will explain your rights protected by the government.
