Just checked the caller ID said wireless caller, listened to voicemail message which states "this call is officially a final notice from IRS internal revenue service the reason of this call is to inform you that IRS is filing lawsuit against you to get more information about this case filed please call immediately on our department number 202 702 6325 I repeat 202 702 6325 thank you".
This is either spam or a prank call, no one doing business calls before 8:00 am.

I got a voicemail from this number identical to Deb's. Obviously bullcrap, because "IRS" (not "the IRS") is "filing lawsuit" (not "filing suit" or "filing a lawsuit) against me. Because I pay my taxes? And the IRS totally calls you, not even stating your name, and informs you of a lawsuit, right, instead of filing lawsuits through paper like every other government agency. Obviously a scam to try to get identity information, by someone who doesn't speak English very well or know crap about the American legal system (You always receive court summons/subpoenas in paper form; sensitive information cannot be left in a voicemail, etc.) Do not call this number back, or give them any information, they'll take the shirt off your back.
SCAM !!! Got call from this number.....had the idiot hang on the phone line and told him i was calling IRS number to confirm....HUNG UP ON ME....go figure......NOT MY FIRST RODEO IDIOT.....Then I called number back and asked for the name I was given and this time a lady......I told her that they are rude to hang up and she said I was rude....LIKE REALLY.....funny thing was the name I was given was the name they gave me when I got a scammed call about getting a Grant.....My saddest point is the elderly people getting scammed by these phone calls.........LIKE REALLY.......Hope they keep callingme cause I love playing games with the STUPID IDIOTS.........
Got a call saying they are from IRS and asking to wire more than 5000$, they don't have my correct address and said they are senior IRS officer and was very very rude. I told them to send me a letter so that it is real but they denied and said they will not resolve the case and IRS officer to come to me and to get a lawyer. Reported to my carrier and saw this link on website with the same number that called me. dang had to start my day with such rude people calling and giving fake identities.
